Welcome from the Kiwanis Club of St. Peter

Our club is involved in a variety of projects that involve fundraising, community service, and assisting children locally and worldwide.  Below are examples of the projects in which we are currently involved:

  • Fourth Grade Essay Contest:  Each fourth grader is invited to write a one page essay on what organization they would like to donate $100, and why that donation is needed.
  • Annual scholarship to St. Peter High School graduating seniors
  • Financial support to Children's Weekend Food Program and St. Peter Area Food Shelf
  • Member and financial support of Gustavus Adolphus College Circle K and the Aktion Club of St. Peter
  • Working collaboratively with Nicollet County Social Services and the St. Peter Lions Club to provide back to school supplies each fall.
  • Helping preschool students and their parents to focus on the importance of parents reading to their children daily, in Spanish and English editions
  • Raising funds through the Aluminum Kan Trailer in the Arbys parking lot, assisting the Mankato Kiwanis Million Lights Program in Sibley Park in setting up, volunteer support on selected evenings during the show, and take down afterwards
